We are excited to announce that long time music industry veteran Keith Roscoe, known for his boutique, handmade basses, is joining forces with Gene Baker, known for his legendary woodworking skills, as seen in his b3 Guitar line. This partnership will allow Roscoe, in conjunction with b3, to quickly react to an ever-changing market.
Gene brings many years of detailed handwork and CNC machining experience to Roscoe as he has previously done with the Fender and Gibson custom shops. In mid-2015, Gene separated from Premier Builders Guild, where he was solely responsible for all engineer programming, production, and quality control.
In addition to the years of experience Gene and Keith bring to guitar building, they also have something else in common; Gene attended MIT/Guitar Institute of Technology while Keith attended the Berkeley School of Music. This may sound like an East Coast, West Coast rivalry; but in reality, these two Luthiers are dedicated to the evolution and quality of musical production, providing the best tools possible for any artist worldwide.
Roscoe Guitars has taken a leap forward with an expanded new State-of-the-Art facility located in Greensboro, North Carolina. With the addition of Plek, Hass CNC machinery, and a bit of rocket science, we plan to provide the best level of machine and hand craftsmanship possible in every instrument!
